I’m just going to say it. I’m really lost at the moment. I feel like I’m dangling from a thin thread just waiting to fall into that dark hole underneath me. There are days where I forget about that thread, and I feel happy. Like before, like when I really was just a person happy to live. But for a few months now, that’s just not the case. I see myself now, and I think I’m a catastrophe, just a “problem”.
I’ve had problems before, and I’ve been sad but it’s never been as bad and I’ve never taken a step back on my life and actually thought about everything that’s happened. I think this is the reason why it’s all so bad now, I’m just thinking about everything that my family and I have gone through. I lost my father when I was 4 and I’m realizing now that it never actually hit me as hard as it’s hitting me now. I really miss him. I want to know him and to live moments with him. But he’s not here. And I feel like I’m not good enough for my mother. I feel like I don’t deserve her because I’m so selfish. So shitty.
I just want him back, I want my brothers back and I want them here so I can love them. But I can’t, because we’re all apart. It’s a bad day today and I can’t stop crying. I feel like this is going to be another sleepless night.

Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent.
Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.
Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
The slogan “press on” has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."
